Part-time ESOL Teaching Position in Auckland - Make a Difference in the Community!

Location: Auckland South

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday mornings

Organization: English Language Partners (NFP org supporting former refugees/migrants)

If you are passionate about helping former refugees and migrants improve their English language skills, this part-time ESOL teaching opportunity in Auckland South might be perfect for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach ESOL classes for a minimum of 12 hours a week
• Teach low-beginners to intermediate English levels
• Deliver classes face to face or online

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualified in TESOL at level 5 or above
• Experienced in ESOL teaching, preferably in a New Zealand context
• Experience working with beginner learners
• Ability to deliver online teaching and use technology effectively
• Strong cultural sensitivity and empathy

Benefits:

• $49.34 per hour rate
• Central Auckland South location
• Possibility of a contract extension
