Responsibilities

As a Payroll Administrator, your main responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll - Importing hours worked data from the time and attendance system - Verifying leave availability and entitlements before processing payroll - Maintaining and updating payroll records - Responding promptly and courteously to payroll inquiries - Calculating and processing final pays or special pays as needed - Assisting in entering new employee details

Experience Required

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess: - Minimum one year of relevant payroll experience - Strong time management and organisational skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of NZ payroll legislation and compliance - Team player mindset with a commitment to confidentiality and customer service - Experience with DataPay and Human Force - Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
