Principal Advisor - Project Risk Role

The Principal Advisor - Project Risk position at Kāinga Ora involves being the subject matter expert in delivering risk management and advisory services to enhance project delivery and achieve project outcomes. Working within the Urban Development and Delivery (UDD) Risk, Benefits, and Assurance team, this role collaborates with various teams to provide seamless risk and assurance services and advice.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• Strong Infrastructure Project Management skills
• Risk Management experience, ideally in Infrastructure or Housing Development
• Experience with Quantitative Risk Analysis and Monte Carlo Simulation modeling
• Understanding of international risk management frameworks and standards
• Ability to innovate and apply new practices for continuous improvement
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Experience working in regulated environments and building trust with stakeholders
