About the Role

Evolve Scientific is currently seeking a Product Developer for a global food manufacturing company based in Auckland. This role involves working with a leader in the food manufacturing industry, specializing in meat/fish/poultry and protein-based value-added meats such as sausages, meatballs, tray bakes, marinades, and more. As a Product Developer, you will oversee product trial and validation procedures at the Auckland site, manage the stage gate process, coordinate the product development process, and work closely with customers to create new concepts and improve existing products. Your responsibilities will also include managing supplier relationships, meeting timelines, and driving cost reduction projects.

Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates should have qualifications in Food Science or a related field, with experience in food product development being essential. Experience in meat manufacturing and value-add categories product development is desirable. Proficiency in managing the product development processes from concept to production handover, as well as project management skills, are key requirements. The ideal candidate will be a clear thinker, self-motivated, results-driven individual with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
