Job Description

As a Quality Control Technician at PPG, based in Auckland, NZ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through conducting analyses and tests in accordance with our quality control program. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Performing analysis and tests on samples to verify conformity to specifications
  • Recording test results accurately
  • Managing quality records
  • Operating laboratory equipment
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area
  • Following Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Policy
  • Evaluating production batches in response to quality complaints
  • Conducting 5S audits and other related audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field, or three years of relevant experience in Manufacturing QC
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory test equipment
  • Familiarity with office tools and ERP systems
  • Understanding of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Policy
