Project Management Opportunity in Auckland CBD

The Project

Join a $80m, 3+ year long project in Auckland's CBD led by a well-established main contractor. Construction is set to start soon with completion in 2027. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong leadership skills to spearhead this exciting project.

The Role

The Project Manager will oversee complex site establishment, temporary works elements, and structural upgrades in a live environment while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Responsibilities include project team leadership, health & safety management, program development, quality assurance, and commercial oversight.

Main Duties

• Client relationship management
• Site preparation, package delivery, work planning, and financial management
• Active participation in ECI
• Providing practical solutions to job-specific challenges
• Leading construction delivery teams from site assessment to handover
• Contract management

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience in project management on large commercial projects
• Strong construction knowledge
• A tertiary qualification in construction or engineering
• Excellent decision-making and leadership skills
• Proven programming and financial management experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Desirable: Seismic/structural experience

Location and Compensation

Location: Auckland Central

Salary: $120k - $160k per annum
