Position Overview

A renowned cabinetry and shopfitting company is seeking a Project Specifier to join their team in Hobsonville, working on various projects in commercial, education, healthcare, and large-scale residential sectors across Auckland. The role includes visiting clients and weekly travel to the company's main office in Northland.

Role Responsibilities

As a Project Specifier, you will be responsible for ensuring that design specifications align with client requirements, comply with building regulations and standards, and are cost-effective. Collaborating closely with the project team, including Project Managers, QS, designers, and clients, you will provide guidance and ensure client satisfaction. Your role will involve working with key stakeholders such as contractors, suppliers, and clients to optimize project outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have direct experience in a similar position within the interiors or construction sector. Experience in cabinetry, shopfitting, interiors architecture, furniture, fit-out, or related fields is desirable. Key skills and experience include: - Familiarity with interiors and shopfitting projects - Knowledge of NZ building codes and standards - Ability to interpret plans, designs, and specifications - Understanding of construction materials - Strong written and verbal communication skills
