Overview:

The University of Auckland, known for its academic excellence and research contributions, is looking for an experienced Recreation Programmes Team Leader to join their passionate team. This full-time role involves leading a team to develop and deliver high-quality recreation and well-being opportunities at the new state-of-the-art Recreation Centre opening in late 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Recreation Programmes team
• Stay updated on industry trends for program improvement
• Manage the delivery of recreation programs and events
• Monitor financial performance against budget targets
• Oversee marketing and communication for program promotion

Qualifications:

• Relevant higher education qualification or similar experience
• Previous team leadership experience
• Demonstrated expertise in program development and delivery
• Strong planning, communication, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in MS Suite and administrative tasks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
