Join Our Team as a Resource Teacher Learning and Behaviour (RTLB)

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced teacher or trained RTLB to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in literacy and numeracy teaching, as well as leadership experience. If you have a passion for working collaboratively to build inclusive practices within schools and communities, this role may be perfect for you.

Location and Coverage

Our team provides support across 66 schools in various areas, including the Awhitu Peninsula, Waiuku, Onewhero, Tuakau, Kaiaua, Pukekohe, Papakura, and Takanini. To see the full list of schools we cover, visit rtlb.tki.org.nz.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily travel to support schools and students within our cluster
• Demonstrate leadership in building inclusive practices
• Work alongside teachers and schools to enhance capability in literacy and numeracy teaching

Requirements

• Full, clean driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
• Completed RTLB training or a degree with confirmation of meeting entry requirements for Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching
