About the Role

Join a team at the forefront of keeping borders and communities safe by disrupting criminal activities in New Zealand. As part of the Human Source Unit within the New Zealand Customs Service, you will play a crucial role in gathering intelligence through covert relationships to target cross-border crime. This Auckland-based position involves identifying, supporting, and managing human sources to collect vital intelligence.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to build and manage relationships effectively. You must be resilient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and the willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident with a clear Police record and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
