Position: Part-time Assistant Basketball Coach

We are currently seeking a part-time Assistant Basketball Coach to work with our male and female teams across years 7-13. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical training, strategic planning, and mentorship to enhance player performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training strategies
• Coordinate and instruct players during practices and games
• Maintain communication with team members and managers
• Foster sportsmanship and teamwork
• Monitor player performance and identify areas for improvement
• Assist in the holistic development of the basketball programme

Important Skills

• Expertise in basketball techniques, tactics, and rules
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience coaching or playing at a high level
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to attend training

Coach Availability

This role involves coaching during preseason, intermediate season, and secondary school season with opportunities for games and practices throughout the week. The Assistant Basketball Coach will have the chance to work with over 25 teams and utilize three impressive court facilities.
