Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the wider commercial team, council, subcontractors, and senior management. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines. Key qualifications and responsibilities include:
- Quantity Surveyor qualification or Construction degree-level qualification
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a commercial QS in New Zealand
- Experience leading a team of Quantity Surveyors on commercial projects
- Strong reporting and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making abilities
- Organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Experience in procurement, project management, and estimating software
