Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design of significant projects while also taking the lead on new ventures. You will contribute to the growth of the business by mentoring junior engineers, sharing your expertise, and enhancing in-house processes. The current focus is on large-scale commercial and apartment complexes, with a recent foray into the multi-storey timber market, promising exciting opportunities for the future.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of design experience in New Zealand
• CPEng certification or close to achieving it
• Thorough understanding of NZ seismic conditions
• Experience in multi-storey design
• Proficiency in structural analysis software like ETABS and Excel
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Preferable skills: Multi-storey timber engineering and light industrial experience
