About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to guide the sustainability strategy, business goals, and initiatives of the company, ensuring ongoing review and enhancement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing in-house sustainability programs across all areas of the business.
  • Leading sustainability strategy and innovative thinking to keep the company at the forefront of construction sustainability.
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing carbon data and other sustainability initiatives and programs.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in leading and implementing sustainability strategies and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with New Zealand sustainability legislation and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • A tertiary qualification in sustainability, management, or related areas is highly regarded.
  • Excellent people skills and stakeholder management abilities.
