Position: Whanau Ora Navigator - Pacific

About the Role

As a Whanau Ora Navigator at Pacific Whanau Ora, based in South Auckland (Manurewa), you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in Pacific wellbeing. This full-time position requires a versatile social/community worker who is eager for an exciting new role. The role involves implementing the family-centred approach of Pacific Whanau Ora, understanding that families themselves hold the best solutions to the challenges they face. You will guide Pacific families in Auckland towards achieving their goals in health, education, economic development, and culture, with duties that will take you around the region from the Manurewa base. This is a 40-hour per week salaried position with flexitime.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Whanau Ora Navigator Team. The ideal candidate will value the whanau ora approach, possess a sound understanding of the Pacific community sector, have connections within it, and be passionate about the potential of Pacific people. While social worker registration is preferred, candidates with at least a Category 3 – Level 4 Health Certificate are also encouraged to apply.
