Animal Research Compliance Manager Full-time Job

Overview:

The University of Auckland, New Zealand's leading university, is currently seeking an Animal Research Compliance Manager to join their Office of Research Strategy and Integrity. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high standards of animal health, welfare, and research compliance within the university.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethical Conduct and the Animal Welfare Act.
• Provide support to the Animal Ethics Committee/University.
• Participate in training, drug compliance, and support related to animal-based research.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of veterinary experience.
• Registration with the New Zealand Veterinary Council or eligibility for registration.
• Prior experience in animal welfare, research, and teaching preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
