About the Role

The role at Guardian Trust involves assessing applications for Significant Financial Hardship and Serious Illness from KiwiSaver schemes. The key responsibilities include being the first point of contact for withdrawals, ensuring high service standards, managing claim requests, and assisting in risk and compliance management. Ideal candidates should have attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple processes effectively.

Key Tasks

  • Review and process KiwiSaver Serious Financial Hardship and Serious Illness applications
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management practices
  • Collaborate with management and scheme providers to enhance processes
  • Work with scheme providers to ensure proper outcomes for members

About You

The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple processes effectively. While prior experience with KiwiSaver schemes is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Relevant experience in personal banking, financial services administration, and claims processing is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
