Senior Manager Risk at Reserve Bank of New Zealand

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Senior Manager Risk to play a key role in the continuous improvement and evolution of risk management. This exciting new role offers the opportunity to be involved across the breadth of RBNZ's work and comes with perks such as five weeks of annual leave and a hybrid working environment.

About the Role:

• Reporting to the Director of Risk and Compliance
• Designing and maintaining the risk management framework
• Leading a team of experts
• Monitoring and reporting on risk to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in a risk management role
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience transitioning risk management frameworks to a higher level of maturity
• Proactive with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage risk effectively and escalate when necessary
