Position Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Business Support role is available in Auckland. This part-time position requires 16 hours per week with remote working flexibility. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities while working closely with the Managing Director of a growing start-up company focused on reducing energy use and CO2 emissions.

Responsibilities

  • Handling standard financial tasks like issuing invoices, managing payment systems, and cashflow forecasts
  • Refining and managing operational processes
  • Client liaison and administration
  • Coordinating the onboarding process for new clients

Skills Required

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel
  • Experience with Xero (training provided if needed)
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Project coordination skills (desirable)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication style with clients and suppliers
  • Self-management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks
