Position Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Business Support role is available in Auckland. This part-time position requires 16 hours per week with remote working flexibility. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities while working closely with the Managing Director of a growing start-up company focused on reducing energy use and CO2 emissions.
Responsibilities
- Handling standard financial tasks like issuing invoices, managing payment systems, and cashflow forecasts
- Refining and managing operational processes
- Client liaison and administration
- Coordinating the onboarding process for new clients
Skills Required
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel
- Experience with Xero (training provided if needed)
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Project coordination skills (desirable)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication style with clients and suppliers
- Self-management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks
