The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) is a leading political and economic policy organization in the region, consisting of 18 members including Fiji, New Zealand, and Samoa. PIFS works towards fostering cooperation between governments, collaborating with international agencies, and advocating for the interests of its members.

The Assignment

This assignment involves working as a Data Governance Specialist to enhance the Forum's data governance strategies and capabilities. You will assess current data governance practices, identify areas for improvement, and deliver tailored solutions to strengthen overall data management capabilities.

The Volunteer

VSA is looking for a volunteer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, at least 10 years of experience in a data governance role, in-depth knowledge of data governance principles, and strong project management skills. Experience with data management tools and technologies, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are essential.
