Job Overview
As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our early childhood centre. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a managerial role and a strong understanding of New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care and education for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our team of educators, fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with educators to implement a curriculum aligned with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community.
- Compliance: Ensure the centre operates in adherence to all licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a qualification in Primary Education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum.
