Key Responsibilities
As an estimator, you will work closely with the commercial director to manage tendering and estimating tasks throughout the construction process. Your responsibilities will include analysing information, preparing tender projects, attending meetings, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring quality and precision in estimating.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial and interiors builds, along with a solid understanding of the local market and commercial construction legislation. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred. Key personal attributes for success in this role include excellent organisational skills, a results-driven mindset, strong communication abilities, and a continuous improvement orientation.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to exciting construction projects in Auckland Central.
