Dil’s Funeral Services is on the lookout for a compassionate and professional individual to join their supportive team in creating beautiful funerals and assisting families in their time of need.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with families, providing guidance and support throughout the funeral planning process. Your responsibilities will include organizing and implementing funeral plans, demonstrating empathy, and being a calm problem solver to help families during their difficult times.
Requirements
- Excellent personal presentation
- Empathetic disposition
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfort with operating AV equipment and technology
- Willingness to learn and undergo training
- Clean Full NZ Driver’s License and Police Record
- Valid working rights for NZ
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in funeral direction or event management is desirable, but not required as full training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
