Overview

As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety across all projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to promote a culture of safety excellence.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address safety concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in Workplace Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is desirable but not essential.
