Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and prepare detailed estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to formulate budgets and cost plans.
  • Source subcontractor and supplier services, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes.
  • Monitor project expenses and deliver timely cost reports to guide decision-making.
  • Assess and manage project risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement.
  • Review and assess contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and assist junior members of the quantity surveying team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate collaboration and achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in working on projects with a value of $30 million and above.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Thorough understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism.
