Job Opportunity: Social Worker

Iosis is seeking an experienced and committed Social Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will work intensively alongside families in need, providing support through mentoring, coaching, advocacy, and empowerment. The role involves working with families facing challenges to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Engage with families using a strengths-based approach
• Strong assessment skills
• Collaborate with Oranga Tamariki and other community agencies
• Understanding of Maori and Pacific Island communities
• Knowledge of family violence, addictions, parenting, attachment, and care and protection for children
• Social Work qualification with registration
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Current driver’s license
