About the Role

The SFO is currently seeking an Investigating Lawyer or a Senior Investigating Lawyer to join their team in either Commercial Bay, Auckland, or The Terrace, Wellington. This full-time permanent role involves working in a multi-disciplinary team under the guidance of a Principal Lawyer. As an Investigating Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to investigation strategies, conducting legal analysis, providing legal opinions, participating in investigation tasks, and supporting SFO prosecutions.

What We Are Looking For

Successful candidates for this role will have a current practicing certificate with a specialization in criminal law. Previous experience in investigations and litigation of financial crime matters, such as investment fraud, procurement fraud, mortgage fraud, bribery, and corruption, will be highly regarded. Strong collaboration, research, analysis skills, and the ability to provide sound advice are essential for this role.
