Responsibilities

As the Lead Adviser Māori Partnerships, your key responsibilities will include: - Leading regional engagement with Māori to develop and maintain constructive relationships - Identifying and supporting formal and informal partnerships across Tāmaki Makaurau - Keeping national-level teams informed about relevant issues in the region - Building relationships that enhance outcomes for all New Zealanders

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proven experience at a principal or senior advisory level - Confidence and effectiveness in a Māori cultural setting - Familiarity with Te Ao Māori principles, Te Reo, Tikanga, and the Treaty of Waitangi - Awareness of justice sector trends and issues - Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills

Salary

The salary range for this role is $98,215 - $138,656, with the midpoint at $115,546. Appointments will be based on relevant skills and experience.
