National HR Advisor Full-time Job

Overview:

This inspiring organization in New Zealand is seeking a National Human Resource Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of parental leave starting in late July 2024. The ideal candidate will provide HR guidance to leaders and staff nationwide, ensuring alignment with the organization's values and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end mid-level employment relations, including performance management and disciplinaries.
• Collaborate with Employment Relations Specialist and People and Culture team.
• Partner with People Leaders to enhance their HR skills for effective team management.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand employment legislation and implement best HR practices.
• Demonstrate proactive initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Practical understanding of ERA 2000 and supporting legislation.
• Experience in managing employment relations effectively.
• Proven ability in performance management, disciplinaries, and change management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict management abilities.
• Ideally, five years of NZ employment relations experience and an HR qualification.
