Join our Team as a Speech Language Therapist

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an energetic and motivated Speech Language Therapist to join our team either in a part-time role or as a contractor. At The Speech Room, a private paediatric speech & language therapy clinic located in Albany, Auckland, we are dedicated to providing high-quality support and therapy to children and young adults and their families. Our clinic works closely with a partner clinic, The Move Room, which offers paediatric occupational therapy, enabling us to provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach to therapy.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Therapist with a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of a variety of speech and language issues such as AAC, fluency, literacy, speech delays and disorders, CAS, and language delay and disorders. You will be part of a dynamic team of Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists, and must be able to independently manage a caseload. Responsibilities include assessment, report writing, treatment planning, and providing both individual and group therapy sessions. Strong time management and communication skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

In addition to the qualifications and experience mentioned above, applicants must:

• Currently be living in New Zealand
• Be eligible for membership to the NZSTA
• Hold a current full New Zealand driver's license
