Youthline is a leading organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of young people across Aotearoa. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Therapeutic Services Manager to join our team and lead our Therapeutic Services department.

About the Role:

As the Clinical Therapeutic Services Manager, you will play a key leadership role in upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence within our organization. Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting our team of counsellors, fostering a culture of clinical expertise, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Youthline remains at the forefront of clinical service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Youthline counsellors
• Foster a culture of clinical excellence and innovation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain leadership in clinical services
• Oversee a team of direct reports, interns, and contractors
• Lead change management initiatives and project manage strategic priorities
• Manage financial and budgetary aspects of the department
• Optimize operational service delivery and planning

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy, or Psychology
• Full registration with a recognized New Zealand Membership Body
• Extensive senior management experience in the Mental Health Sector
• Strong clinical networks and extensive clinical experience
• Experience in change management and project management
• Financial and budget management experience
• Proven ability to effectively manage relationships and teams
