About the Role

Purpose of the Role

The People and Culture Business Partner role at Te Pūkenga is a new and exciting position that involves partnering with managers and leaders to provide high-quality service and reliable advice to support regional delivery, staff, and learners. You will play a key role in delivering frameworks, policies, and standards that align with our values and organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with People Leaders to provide guidance on people-related processes
  • Raising capability through coaching and mentoring
  • Delivering people, culture, and wellbeing strategy initiatives aligned with national priorities
  • Supporting leaders in building a culturally responsive and inclusive workforce

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should be an experienced people and culture expert with a strong background in employee relations. Excellent communication skills, coaching abilities, and a commitment to equity and inclusivity are essential. Previous experience in developing frameworks and policies within an organization would be advantageous.
