Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our pharmacology/neuroscience team on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting staff and students in various technical operations essential for research and academic success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting operational requirements for assigned research fields
  • Liaising with researchers for equipment storage and disposal
  • Assisting in producing high-quality research outputs
  • Conducting experimental work under academic guidance
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment
  • Training staff and students in scientific techniques

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or BBiomedSc in a relevant discipline
  • 4-5 years of experience, including practical work or tertiary study experience
  • Experience in biochemical assays
  • Proficiency in animal handling and in vivo manipulation

About the Team

Join our innovative team focused on developing and testing new antibody and gene therapy treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. You will work alongside experienced Research Fellows, a Senior Research Technician, and PhD students, contributing to cutting-edge research in the field.
