Role Overview
The primary purpose of the House Leader role is to provide leadership, mentorship, and support to residential support workers. The goal is to assist individuals living at Hohepa in achieving their goals across their lifespan while ensuring their wellbeing is always a top priority. Additionally, the House Leader is responsible for fostering an active cultural, spiritual, emotional, and physical life within the community.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Experience in a diverse team environment
- Knowledge of NZ Health and Safety procedures
- A degree in Allied Health or significant experience in the disability sector
