Internal Sales Engineer Position in East Auckland

Salary and Location

Salary for the Internal Sales Engineer position is between 75-85k depending on experience. The location of the job is in East Auckland. The position is available to start as soon as possible.

The company is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join their team to contribute to their ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively promote and support the product range.
• Execute various sales tasks and activities.
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers.
• Assist clients with calculations and product specifications.
• Educate customers on the product range.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of existing and new products/technologies.
• Ensure accurate communication of customer requirements to internal departments (logistics, service, production).

Requirements

Essential:

• Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical trade qualification or degree equivalent to NZQA level 5, or 3 years industry experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanics and physics related to machinery.

Desirable:

• Tertiary education in electrical, mechatronic, or mechanical engineering (NZQF level 6 or higher).
• 3-5 years of sales experience in relevant products to various industries, with a strong understanding of power transmission equipment and manufacturing processes.

• Meticulous and thorough with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Independent thinker capable of making rational decisions promptly.
