SCHOOL FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR - NEW POSITION Full-time Job

Introduction

Tangaroa College, a school with a focus on community engagement and student development, is looking for a dedicated School Finance Administrator to join their team. This newly created position will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and supporting various departments within the school.

Responsibilities

• Manage school ordering, accounts payable, and receivables systems.
• Maintain financial data processing and bank transactions in Xero.
• Assist in providing support and assistance to budget holders and generating monthly reports.
• Collaborate in the annual budgeting process and monitor actuals against the budget throughout the year.
• Liaise with the college financial service provider for monthly financial reports.
• Handle communications for organizations renting school facilities and manage payment systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in finance or administration roles, preferably with knowledge of school accounting requirements.
• Proficiency in financial management software systems, experience with Xero and ApprovalMAX is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
