About the Role

As a Senior Design Estimator, your main objective will be to produce winning estimates for major operations & maintenance projects in the electrical space. You will collaborate with management and operations to create innovative proposals aligned with clients' objectives. Your responsibilities will also include developing pricing strategies, negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining estimating processes.

This role offers the unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the Auckland region, primarily focusing on Distribution and Industrial sectors. Projects will range in value from 5K to 10M, providing you with a diverse and challenging work environment.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have a technical background and hands-on operations experience in Electrical projects within various sectors such as Distribution, Industrial, Communications, Power Generation, or Transmission. A minimum of 5-6 years of New Zealand experience is essential for success in this position. Knowledge of NZS 3910:2013 and experience with CATS software will be advantageous.
