Job Title: Senior Programme Manager (Data Center)

As the Senior Programme Manager for Data Center, you will lead a program focused on deploying multiple large data centers across New Zealand. This full-time role involves hands-on leadership, driving outcomes through a fully immersive approach. You will be leading a team of 6-12 highly skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects
• Lead the development of delivery strategies and refinement of objectives
• Coordinate cross-project activities ensuring effective interworking and proactive dialogue
• Manage the performance of project managers, suppliers, and other staff
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities for the program in consultation with the Delivery PMO
• Ensure and drive change, risk, and resource management
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
• Resolve projects' higher scope issues in consultation with key stakeholders
• Prepare accurate and timely reporting

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of ten years' experience as a Programme Manager
• Experience in delivering civil construction projects
• Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders
• Track record of deploying complex infrastructure projects
• Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods
• Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Not the Role for You If

• You are seeking part-time or flexible hours
• You are not willing to commit to a potentially three-year journey
• You lack experience in delivering programs with a capital value over $50M
• You are uncomfortable with high levels of uncertainty and changing plans
• You do not have a track record in delivering complex initiatives involving civil construction
• You cannot work effectively at both an executive level and on the frontline

Location

Salary

The salary range for this role is NZD 160,000 - 180,000 per annum.
