Overview

As a Senior Project Manager at AT, you will play a crucial role in shaping Auckland's transport network by leading high-priority programmes and projects that aim to deliver a better, faster, and safer transport system for the community.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with an experienced programme manager to deliver public transport routes and infrastructure
- Manage construction, detailed design, stakeholder engagement, procurement, and engineering contracts
- Lead project teams to achieve AT business objectives
- Oversee tender processes, procurement strategies, and governance arrangements
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders
- Ensure project strategies incorporate workplace safety and promote continuous improvement
- Provide coaching to junior project members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or project management
- Eight years of post-graduate experience in engineering or project management
- Proven experience in managing complex projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
- Desired qualifications include PMP or PRINCE2 certification
