Job Opportunity: Estimator / Quantity Surveyor in WANAKA

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender documents and assist in bid submissions
• Compile accurate cost estimations using various techniques
• Manage materials procurement, subcontracting, and cost control
• Utilize commercial software tools like CostX, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience with a commercial main contractor in New Zealand
• Proficiency in CostX measurement and estimating functions
• Knowledge of NZ Standards methods of measurement and contract administration
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
