This is a wide-scoped Senior Risk & Assurance Specialist role, where you’ll be working across the organization and reporting into the Head of Internal Audit. You will be an integral member of the Digital Risk and Assurance Team, ensuring that IT risks are properly identified and managed and that the compliance obligations of the business are met.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, assess, and monitor key IT risks and controls to support the outcome of key IT initiatives and strategy.
  • Maintain an up-to-date register of IT risks and controls including tracking of action plans to timely address any risks.
  • Contribute to the development of an assurance program and test the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment and Digital risk framework.
  • Perform a periodic review of key IT risks to ensure that key risks are being appropriately assessed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT stakeholders to ensure that key IT risks are properly managed.

Who are you and what is your profile?

You will be an experienced risk, external or internal audit professional who has a commercial mindset and can easily adapt to an agile working environment. You need to be comfortable with working autonomously and running your own workload. You'll have a proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, demonstrating excellent influencing skills.

Key requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in risk management, internal or external audit roles with in-depth knowledge of IT control frameworks.
  • Experience with Big 4 professional services firms or internal risk functions within a complex organizational environment is preferred.
  • Experience with IT security is ideal. If you don't have this then you would want to have a keen interest in this area.
