About the Role

Are you a creative Senior Product Designer looking for a new opportunity? Join a forward-thinking team at a leading SaaS business based in Central Auckland. In this role, you will have the chance to work autonomously and drive change by leading the ongoing development of products in a traditional and complex industry. You will play a key role in creating solutions that enhance client interaction, connection, and transaction in a two-sided marketplace. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will craft exceptional product experiences for professionals, vendors, and the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer behavior through platform usage analysis
• Attend customer meetings to gather feedback and insights
• Provide comprehensive solutions in Figma
• Identify usability issues and areas for improvement
• Measure user engagement metrics to guide design improvements
• Collaborate with product leaders and engineering managers

Requirements

This full-time permanent role in-office requires over 3 years of experience in SaaS product design. Strong expertise in user insights, testing, and Figma is essential. Knowledge of two-sided marketplaces and the building industry is highly beneficial. Effective collaboration skills and a keen eye for detail are also necessary. Experience in startups is a plus.
