About the Role
As the Chair of the Watercare Services Limited Board, you will play a crucial role in guiding the organization through a transformative phase. Your leadership and strategic decision-making will be instrumental in ensuring sustainable funding and investment for Auckland's water services. You will uphold principles of integrity, moral leadership, and accountability while promoting collaboration and outcomes for Māori in alignment with the Treaty of Waitangi.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record as a chair of large-scale organizations, particularly in politically sensitive and regulated industries. Experience in utilities, infrastructure projects, and capital management will be beneficial. Additionally, a commitment to integrating climate action plans into operational strategies and fostering diversity and inclusion are key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates.
