About North Harbour Gymnastics

North Harbour Gymnastics (NHG) plays a vital role in supporting over 3000 athletes in various gymnastics disciplines to reach their full potential. By joining the NHG Board, you have the chance to contribute to the success of the club and the broader gymnastics community while being a part of a leading sport in a key leadership role.

Position Available

NHG is currently seeking 2-3 Elected Board Members who will receive a stipend for their responsibilities. Board members will play a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of NHG, managing budgets and finances, and ensuring progress aligns with the organization's strategic and annual plans. The Board convenes monthly to discuss key matters.

Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for a Board position, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience as a director, trustee, or in any governance role
• Knowledge of gymnastics
• Relevant occupational skills, abilities, and experience
• Understanding of community, sports, and/or non-profit organizations
• Awareness of the importance of minimizing conflicts of interest
• Diverse skills and experiences to promote varied perspectives
• Sufficient knowledge or experience in the field of gymnastics
