Join a Leading Investment Brand as an Accountant in Christchurch Central
About the Company
Our client, a prominent investment brand with locations across New Zealand, is known for their exceptional results, client service, and commitment to recognizing employee efforts. They are currently embarking on a system implementation project and are seeking a talented Accountant to join their team in Christchurch Central on a fixed-term contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement areas of improvement to enhance financial performance and asset value
- Prepare financial statements for clients, including operating expense account wash-up allocations
- Develop annual budgets and financial statements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Optimize processes and support system testing
- Ensure financial compliance and controls are followed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Solid understanding of technical reporting
- Knowledge of fund accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Intermediate Excel skills with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
- Immediate availability is preferred
