Highbury Community House Inc (Highbury House) is a charitable trust that operates a Community Centre and Early Learning Centre in Birkenhead, Auckland. The Community Centre offers room hire, classes, workshops, events, and more to the local community.

The Role of Manager at Highbury House

We are currently seeking a dynamic Manager to lead a small team and engage with the community. The Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in line with the mission of Highbury House, which focuses on enabling and nurturing the community to learn, share, and connect meaningfully. This role involves a high level of accountability to stakeholders such as Auckland Council, the Kaipātiki Local Board, and other funders, as well as reporting to the Highbury House Board.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have expertise in stakeholder relationship management, community development, marketing, operations management, and financial management. They should also possess qualities such as being a team player, methodical, innovative, collaborative, efficient in time management, and committed to the vision of a resilient and thriving community at Highbury House.
