Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing community workers on meaningful projects that benefit schools, reserves, community groups, Marae, and churches.
Responsibilities
As a Community Work Supervisor, you will play a vital role in changing lives and creating pathways through community work projects. Your duties will include guiding and motivating individuals to complete their community work hours, communicating effectively with groups and individuals, and ensuring projects are completed successfully. You will also be required to travel to different service centers within the North Shore and Henderson areas.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should have practical skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and excellent relationship management skills. A full driver's license, including the ability to drive a manual van with a trailer, is essential. Candidates must also undergo a criminal history check and a pre-employment drug test. Trade experience and a commitment to upholding the Departmental values are highly desirable.
Salary
The starting salary for this position is $56,773 per annum pro rata for the part-time hours worked.
