Purpose of the Role:

As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing civil, mechanical, and electrical activities for a large-scale solar farm project. Based in Kaitaia, Northland, you will be responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly within the designated timeframe and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction activities and the project team
  • Coordinate with Senior Site Managers/Site Managers and monitor labor force and subcontractors
  • Drive mechanical, electrical, and civil works on site
  • Oversee the construction project from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with design, timelines, and safety regulations through QA/QC processes
  • Promote and maintain health and safety standards on-site
  • Resolve client issues and provide updates

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least five years of construction management experience in power plant projects
  • Prior experience as a Site/Construction Manager on a 50 MWp net capacity solar power plant project
  • Ideally a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Proficiency in English
