About the Role

We are currently looking for a General Manager to lead our Grey Lynn dealership in Auckland. This role is pivotal in driving the division's profitability and operational success by providing guidance, leadership, and inspiration to the departmental managers.

Main Responsibilities

• Create a positive culture aligned with the business objectives and customer service excellence.
• Foster professional and productive staff morale.
• Develop and evaluate short and long-term business goals.
• Monitor daily performance, identify trends, and take necessary actions.
• Recruit, coach, and lead departmental managers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors, suppliers, and finance institutions.
• Address customer complaints effectively.

About You

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the New Zealand automotive market and previous experience in a leadership role. Desired skills include inclusive leadership, profit maximization, exceptional customer focus, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate teams.
