The Opportunity as a Health & Safety Advisor

As a Health & Safety Advisor at Downer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice, support, coaching, and mentoring to internal stakeholders within the telecommunications business unit. This dynamic position offers a mix of office and site-based exposure, emphasizing the importance of achieving safety objectives while contributing to business innovation.

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate

• Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• ICAM Lead Investigator and auditing qualifications (desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to train, coach, and develop stakeholders
• Collaborative communication style and team player mindset
• Positive and professional attitude
